I just noticed that microEngineering Labs has released their second
BASIC compiler for the PIC, "PicBasic Pro".  This version of BASIC seems
to equal or exceed the BASIC on the BASICStamp II.  They're asking
$250.00 for it, or $150.00 for those who own the original PicBASIC.
