I ate such a little problem on my dev.sys. too :) the first time it failed on my new cool machine - later the problem moved to the next machine at the room and at last the problem went to the last machine I use - an ibm thinkpad 486 the problem reported by the machine was the same and it turned out that the new firmware chips I use and the new spasm does have a bad influence on win95 IF the device statement is not in the first line of the source code it assembled all right , but when it came to programming it turned unreliable . sometimes perfect sometimes impossible 5:95 % btw to anybody using notebooks to program pics and stamps - if you use it under win95 it's advised to switch to top speed mode (esp on thinkpads :) ) bye charley
