PTM: I bored and clued a small magnet to the flywheel and read it with a self made coil. There was a 4xOP-AMP to get the pulse out for a normal cheap tachometer from a car. The same tacho was used to measure the water lewel in the water tank so there was a switch. The face of the tachometer I made myself, because the frequency from the flywheel is twice too high.
