Peter,

Note that the driver is not really an updated driver, it is an alternate
driver.  On some systems one works better than the other.  You might try
the original driver on the Win 95 system.

Other things to check:
- Check your System in the Control Panel in Win95 to see that both COM
ports are operating correctly.
- Make sure that your BIOS sets up both COM ports.


With only two COM ports, there shoudn't be much of a problem.  With
three COM ports, then it's difficult to get interrupts sorted out.
