You might take a look at our PICPlus Microcontroller Board at
http://www.elabinc.com

Based on the PIC16C57, it offers a built-in LCD port, A/D, two 8-bit digital
output ports and one 8-bit digital input port, in addition to 4
bi-directional lines.  Also, on-board power regulation, terminal blocks to
all signal lines, and a 40 pin IDC expansion connector.  Info and app notes
