I explained to him that I do NOT use a paper copy of data books and such as he was publishing if the material was available on CD, and that the $230+/- price on his CD was out of line. I have received these unsolicited mailings every year, and have several years of them (in the original cartons, only opened to see if maybe a CD was somehow included) piled in my garage waiting to be remembered on recycling day. After I explained how I rely on Acrobat and HTML for data, he and I worked out an agreement that is suitable for both of us. He promised that he _would_ consider changing things around if there was sufficient need. Sure, sometimes a book is nice. But I really like to find what I want by pressing Ctrl-F and waiting a couple seconds. So much nicer than flipping through the books to find the right page.
