    SOME companies, on the other hand, seem to have completely
    missed this point.  A month or so ago, the postman delivered an
    unsolicited, free copy of the 5-volume EEM directory, which
    weighs about twenty pounds... In the box was an offer from the
    publisher for the whole thing on CD-ROM -- for $35!

    I declined, of course... Although if the initially-shipped free
    version had been on CD-ROM, I might've paid $35 to get it on
    paper.
