I am new to the world of PIC so please excuse any dumb questions...

I have a MAPLIN PIC 16C84 programmer (designed by David Tait).  I understand that Microchip no longer supply the 16C84 as it now replaced by the 16F84.  

Is it possible to modify this programmer to cope with the 16F84.  If so could anyone suggest where I might find details of such a modification and any other related information.
