Are there any software simulators (no hardware req.) for any of the PIC
chips or Stamps.  What I am looking for is something that will allow me
to write code (ASM or BASIC), set various inputs manualy or send wave
forms or data streams(soft of course) to them , 'see' results on outputs
(on screen). See into registers, watch code execute, measure timing for
code sections. Basically Model my entire application in Win-95 or NT
prior having to touch any hardware.  I have been searching the Net for 2
days and have not seen any Software Only solutions.  Do I need to write
this myself, or has it been done??
Any Ideas??
