Flash you can write each bite separately but if you want to erace same bite you have to erace hole array like block. 2. Function of Flash is similar to your camera flash that is why the name is flash. 3. flash is cheaper then eeprom that is why MICROCHIP is moving to Flash technology. 4. What I do not like about flash programming them slower then OTP.
