I have a customer who is having problems with 16C52 parts, I have used
and progammed these with no problems before, but in his PCB they don't
always work, he has tried several different cyrstal and capacitor
combinations, the problem is the 52 with date code 9711SCN will not work
with all combinations, were as an earlier version I sent him which is in
a 52 with date code 9604SCN works all the time in all combinations.

Has anyone come across this problem before and what was the solution.
