Hi folks, I have JUST started playing around with my first (of many - hopefully) PIC projects. I simply wanted to flash an LED using a demo program which put the PIC to sleep : LIST P=16C64 ;WDT enabled MOVLW 0 TRIS 6 OPTION LOOP SLEEP INCF 6,1 GOTO LOOP END However MPLAB wont simulate it and the chipi doesn't work unless the SLEEP command is removed. I've tried all sorts of config options to get it to wake (even pulsing MCLR in the simulator does not reset it once it is asleep - PROZAC anyone ?) If the processor type is changed to 16C64 it doesn't seem to SLEEP at all ! Anybody know what I have done wrong ? \\\|/// \\ - - // "Yes it IS safe ( @ @ ) to switch on" +---oOOo-(_)-oOOo------------------+ | Mark Birks | | Hardware Section Leader | | OmniBus Systems, Stanford House, | | Stanford-on-Soar, | | Loughborough, Leicestershire.
