Hi,
I'm new to both PIC's and this list and I could use a little assistance.

I have my very first PIC16C62A sitting on my bench all wired up and
programmed with very simple code to toggle port B on and off (loaded with
PIC Start +). I'm using an external oscillator (square wave from a function
generator) for the clock in signal.

When I power it up, every pin remains at ground except for pin 1(reset)
which is tied high, and the clock out pin which looks like a low pass
filtered version of the clock in signal from the function generator.

Can anyone offer a rank novice, who has not worked with microcontrollers, a
little assistance to get up and running?
