Statek supplies a wide variety of oscillators covering many temperature ranges (commerical, industrial, miltary), supply voltages, and package styles. They make some frequencies (esp. 32.768kHz) with tight frequency tolerences. If you're looking for crystals to work at extended temperatures ranges - stick to what you're alreay using. After looking for Mil-temp crystals, I found that most hi-temp crystals are only commercial-grade parts tested at high temp. When we could no longer locate the 125 deg part that we had ordered for years, the manufacturer admitted that there is nothing special about crystals operating at higher temperatures (they are, after all, basically mechanical devices) and that they only spot tested the commercial-grade parts at higher temperatures. We have never had a temperature problem with crystals, even after 100 hour burn-ins at 150 deg and 2 week cycling between -25 and 150 degrees. Short version. Oscillators: watch the temperature rating (try Statek). Cyrstals: don't worry (we use Laptech). --Matt
