A French scientific magazine reported a couple
of months ago that a japanese company started to
produce high brightness white leds. They are using
their blue leds technology by adding in the casing
a substance that reacts with the wavelength emmited
by the led by producing a bright white light.

On the photos, the whole leds' case seemed to glow...
