I'm sure they're fine 'for indication purposes' as long as you're not expecting to use it for any serious high speed work. We use a Pico ADC-200 which is one of the more expensive jobs in a Vero box. It's reasonable for the price and a lot less bother to get traces off than with the Tektronix and Philips s/w I have previously used. But there's no question the Wayne Kerr 40MS/s DSOs currently being dumped in various outlets at £400 are streets ahead on performance. The product, which is about the size of a DB25 shell plugs into computer's parallel port, and has a BNC connector on it for a single channel. Software then displays the results on the screen. >I am considering it is because it is cheaper than a CRO and takes up no bench space. > > > >Cheers > ---------------------------------------------------------------- Chris Savage chris@cti-vision.demon.co.uk Software Engineer +44 385 396 993 CTIVision Ltd, Egham, UK ----------------------------------------------------------------
