IIRC they run less than 1M samples per second. Our electronics lab has recently invested in a rather nice digital 'scope. It's got a front panel like a conventional scope but is only 4 inches thick. We were using it to look at microsecond pulses without any problems. They're not horribly expensive and they take up very little bench space. I just wish I could justify buying one for myself :-( Keith.
