Hello Piclisters. I have some specific question about PortE functioning.

In PSPMODE PortE control the exchange. Initially RE0 and RE1 pins are
input.

I put to PortD some byte and temporary set RE0 (/RD) as output and low.
Did this result to internal latched out_byte will appear on PortD pins ?

In another words: Is there ability to simulate from PIC itself the
external Read_from_PIC situation ? Minial additional hardware required.
(I mean also no additional PIC pins)
