PTM: This is true as long as no computer has any RS232 or LPTx -ports in the front panel of the computer. I have waited that someone starts to sell panels to install to where a 5.25" was previously. There could be a amplifier and volume-knop for the SoundPlaster, RS232 port, LPT-port for the Zip-Drive and a +5V output.
