Does anyone know how to contact Ian King, the author of pictools? The
latest version I can find is 0.8

  I'm also reviving my PIC programming software for Linux if anyone is
interested in beta testing it. I've made it much simpler to setup with
different programmers, you just enter the pin number for each control line
and the polarity for it. It even includes a test function right in the
configuration menu so you can tell right away if the settings are correct.

  Its still beta (I spent all day yesterday re-writing it) so it has only
seen minimal use, but email me if you're interested in trying it out.
