His problem may have been specific to the PIC14000, or other PICs with a
calibration section.  I've never used those.  Did Microchip ever post the
upgrade to their www site?  All I've ever seen is PSF12000.HEX bundled
with MPLAB, I assume this is the same version (1.20.00) I already have.
I do have some 17C44's ready, but the 1.20.00 version seems OK for what
I'm doing.
