When working with the MPLAB 3.30.00 I get the same error compiling any file using MPASMWIN.EXE. I don't know why this happens but have got around it by going to the Project menu option and selecting Add/Modify Compiler. I then change the assembler to use the MPASM for DOS option. The project will then compile without this problem occurring. Incidentally, running MPASMWIN.EXE as the compiler from within the ICPEIC environment works fine. Hope that helps Regards Martin Mc Arthur Weapontec >---------- >From: ib95_mlu >Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 1997 9:26 PM >To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU >Subject: MPLAB - Problems! >Hi, >I just downloaded the package MPLAB from MC's homepage. >When I started a project and wanted to assemble the file "tutor.asm" I >got the following information from Windows 95: >Application Error >Exception EConvertError in module MOPASMWIN.EXE at 0014:0472 '>01/01/70 00:00:00' is not a valid date and time >Does anyone know why this messige is displayed? >Mattias
