It's well made and works fine, though I haven't used the other PIC tools so can't compare. I use the DOS IDE in a DOS box under Win3.11 as the windows IDE is for 95 only. The only peculiarity was that you MUST have a DOS mouse driver installed otherwise it crashes as soon as you try to access the menus. Tech support answered this, and another query very promptly by email. Unfortunately it became obsolete just after I bought it, the RICE17 is now the more attractive and flexible package (I believe) for similar money. -- Alan Hall, Ipswich UK +44 1473 652301
