Some time ago there was a tread about CO detectors.   Senseon (Motorola
Division) makes some types.
 I've done a fast read on the specifications and it's not that dificult to
interface it to a PIC with A/D.

R, Have you seen any info. on using or interfaceing a smoke (Radiation part)
detector switch to a PIC 16C71 or C84?
