     The function of the RLF instruction is to change the
     carry flag.

     AndyW says the RLF shown above DOESN'T change status.0
     and you confirm his assertion empirically.

     I would have expected the result to be

          STATUS = ABCDEFGA

     Maybe it's because you're both in the northern hemishpere?
