Hello Eric,
I have used the 24AA64 quite alot.  They will operate down to 1.8 volts, do
not require any programming voltages, Will operate up to 400Khz clock rate.
 They are also very low power.  I built a memory module for Lockheed that had
128K of them.  I powered them from an output bit.  They read at a few micro
amps and write at around 3ma.
