Anybody figure out how to get HiTech C to write the .HEX file with the embedded chip type information that Parallax & Tech-Tools products put out? I figure it could be done similarly to how the fuses are set (see the __CONFIG macro in PIC.H) but I can't results. Also, similar thing for the ID bytes. A sample line would be: :02FFFE004A07B0 This indicates a '74A (note that this generates the value 0x074A) Similar codes are used for all the different chips. Thanks!
