Hyping unseen products to inexperienced engineers isn't going to help Scenix any, and isn't going to impress or influence the people at Microchip. I saw it, it appears to work. I also saw it running(warm to the touch) at almost 100MIPS. The programming cable works, the software they had running it was incomplete, but definitely more than vapor. Let's hope that the bond they have with Parallax is secure, and that Parallax stays the course as well. Microchip was interested, but I don't think they fear them. They are doing quite well, and the market that they lose to Scenix will not be that great. More likely, they'll take some pointers from them towards improving the PIC line. Pretty much looks like a win all around. Cheerful regards, Bob http://www.bobblick.com/
