Hmm.  Must've gotten the name wrong (so much for name recognition.)

The stuff is a metalized  polymer film with signficant piezoelectric
and pyroelectric properties.   They're at Wescon all the time trying
to ... inspire the big application for only their film.  It always
looks like it might be neat to play with, and the giveaway is a piece
almost big enough to play with (w datasheet/etc.)  So it's a "product
sample" giveaway, with the kicker being the uniqueness of the product.
