       thanks for the reply. Problem is I got the LCD from
Greenwelds!! The part data they supply is useless - just a list of
part types, physical sizes etc. No pinout info.

I'll keep trying the web and if I find anything I'll post back to
PICLIST. I bought one of the 2*20 modules for £2.50 and it's a
really nice size if I can figure out how to drive it.
