I have not found any information about the voltage and current that is
needed to program 16x84. We have made some prommers who work fine, but
in the next version we need more accurate information, because we are
going to make either RS232 or battery powered of it.
What we know already is that RS232 voltages are enough in most PC's but
not in the portables.
With minor modifications to Ludi prommer we could possibly make it more
reliable but we don't want to modify programs.

So, if you have the exact figures, we'll be interested.
