    If you get any code for generating the checksums, I'd appreciate a copy.
Meanwhile, try the TAPR web site at http://www.tapr.org/

    Then go to the TAPR FTP AREA, select GENERAL and look for AX25.DOC,
which gives the specs for AX25.
