As for the plotting thing. I spent the whole weekend playing with pens in my Roland DXY-1100. A Steadler Draughting pen (0.25) with indian ink instead of the normal stuff does very well indeed You do get the same type of pen in a refillable version intended to be used in plotters, which eliminates the need for modifications. One thing I noticed is that heating the board slightly helps. Nic
