              I just wanted to ask if anyone knows of a simple way of
scrolling a message which is longer than 16 characters on a standard Hitachi
type LCD module.  If I send a string of characters, say the 26 letters of the
alphabet to the LCD module, then in order to display the whole message is it
possible to scroll the message in a type of 'fold over or fold round' manor
i.e. scroll the last letter of the alphabet Z from one side of the display
'back round' to the other side of the display ?. I only know of the control
codes 0x18 and 0x1C for left and right character shift respectively.
