Are you using the PIC1684 smartcard or the PIC1684 + 2416 serial EEPROM smartcard, for any projects? If so, I would love to make a link to any web page your project has, or if it doesn't have a web page I would be willing to publish your text information about the project or finished product on WWW.

(For those that haven't heard about it, it's simply a PIC1684 with Vdd, MCLR, CLK/PGC, VSS and RB7 connected to the eight ISO-7816 smartcard pins. Great not just as different types of access card, but anywhere you need to remove the PIC1684 frequently - for easy firmware updates in a robot, for example. The smartcard with both the PIC1684 and an extra 24LC16 memory has SDA and SCL connected to the PIC and (optionally) the ISO-pads as well. A single card costs only about 12 USD and it's much cheaper in amounts of 200).
