I have read through the Easy Pic'n book and looked through the Pic'n up the
Pace
and I can pretty well understand how the registers are used, and I can
understand the memory map.

The thing I really don't understand is the Equates on the 16C84.

Do these get written to the PIC in an area other than the program memory or
is it something that the assembler uses?

Can someone explain this a little?
