Pardon my laziness, but does anyone have code to share which allows a PIC17C42 to write to its own EPROM? In other words, I will have some code already in the PIC, plus some unprogrammed space that I want to program later, after the part is installed in the target circuit. (Basically, I'd like to replicate self-programming ROM code that is built into the 17C4X). I understand the TABLWT and TLWT instructions, but the programming specification indicates an EPROM-burning algorithm in which you might have to write an EPROM location several times until it reads back correct, and then burn it 3 times that much more. Has anyone out there worked this out? Peter F. Klammer, Racom Systems Inc. PKlammer@ACM.Org 6080 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard (303)773-7411 Englewood, CO 80111 FAX:(303)771-4708 Peter F.
