THAT is a good idea. Using microphonic connectors which spontaneously eject at random times (or at least when bumped) and which are as big as the power supply components, is absurd. I and many friends use 6.5mm "phone" plugs for this job, but then we don't own electric guitars. There's much to be said for the old Cinch-Jones plugs (I think) used on loudspeakers, valve radio batteries and such (ooh! Showing my age!), cheap plastic mouldings with one big and one little pin. They were "coded" by the distance between the pins. But of recent suggestions, I would have to go with the shrouded crimp Molex connetors (2-pin versions of the ones used on 5" floppy, hard drive and CD power connections). Currently used on low-voltage Christmas lights. Cheers, Paul B.
