My 17c42 (Rev C) keeps resetting. I'm running it at 16 Mhz with the watchdog disabled. It's on a solderless breadboard with a bench power supply, and the software design makes heavy use of interrupts. My suspicion is that MCLR is dipping too low and causing the resets, but I don't have the equipment to verify this. MCLR is connected to Vdd through a 390 Ohm resister and I've tried putting Caps to ground everywhere! I've read in this list and in the SIGs on the MicroChip BBS that 17c42s are susceptible to MCLR Resets and that MCLR should be "well isolated". I realize that a solderless breadboard has a lot of noise and stray capacitance. How do I go about isolating MCLR "well". My forte is software. This analog stuff is a bit of a challenge. Jim
