Hi, I've just been looking through the September '97 issue of EW+WW, and saw a couple of things that might be of interest to people on the list, having seen them mentioned here before. There is a project for decoding MSF signals, although it is for a BASIC stamp and not a PIC :-( Code is included in the article. The project takes the raw MSF data and turns it into an RS232 time and data stream. The output is BCD, and contains year, month, date, day, hour and minutes. EW+WW also reports that Actel are making their FPGA development software available free, although it is limited to 8000 gates. This move will apprently save designers over 1000 UKP.
