ROT Really Off Topic WOT Way Off Topic GOT Generally Off Topic POT Practically Off Topic BOT Beginning Of Tape (sorry this one just snuck in there) COT Could be Off Topic DOT Small round thing FOT Far Off Topic HOT Opposite to cold JOT Just Off Topic NOT Not Off Topic - (quite useful for continuing the original thread) OOT Object-Oriented Topic TOT Totally Off Topic The idea is that you will spend so much time thinking which prefix to use that your modem will drop off line, and you'll decide to trash the mail send anyway.
