Programmer PCM16N is dos based, there is no directory search option, file has to be under pcm16 directory, so does prolink, but it never caused a problem during programming yet, about 1000. RICE16 emulator has a windows interface, I had to put a delay to the lpt port to make it work properly and sleep mode readings that I got was a little bit fishy. This may be my lack of understanding, at sleep mode most of the registers are set 0xFF, but few different. I needed to get data on INTCON at sleep but the emulator was not showing it consistently. But working over a year these are all the problems that I have. Comparing my C compiler experience I would say overall they've been quite satisfying for me. Aydin
