I had the same problem first time. Everything seemed to be OK, this can be
checked with the DEBUG mode of the PP program, and a multimeter.

The PC was a Tandon 386. I changed for another PC, still older,(an Amstrad PPC
with a 8088) and it worked ! I didn't ask more question.

If you have an old PC...
