Someone asked about an audio delay unit the other day. The 'bucket brigade'
type ic's do work but are fairly noisy and can be hard to obtain. I recall
Mitsubishi make a digital delay that works up to around 20ms with reasonable
frequency response. Can't remember the part number but can dig around if you
need help finding it. This would probably work out cheaper & easier than
doing it with PIC & ADC/DAC,etc. Hey, but don't let me stop you !  :-)
