 I must agree with Andy Kunz, I don't care if it costs $100 for windowed SMT
pics, I would buy many.

also, I am still looking for reference material on bit-banging (data packet
reception with out using a UART) techniques for 16c71, or any PIC for that
matter. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
