Newbies, When ever you get a scary message from someone that threatens the end of civilization or the wiping out of your hard drive, Do a quick search on the net and find out if it is a hoax. Since it probably is, you would delete it and I, and everyone else, wouldn't be writing this spam thus contributing to this problem. Altavista turned this up... http://www.av.ibm.com/BreakingNews/HypeAlert/Crew/ Tjaart... I have a $0.99 programmer for PIC's!! You have to convert the HEX file to octal by hand and manually set the address and data toggle switches for each location and push a program button repeatedly to generate the serial clocking. It is in kit form and comes with everything you need except components, instructions and software. Sorry for this spam. I just hope to nip this in the bud. - -Mark Flames cheerfully deleted unread. >>> MARK SYMONDS spammed us with: Date: Fri, 8 Aug 1997 10:39:40 +0000 From: MARK SYMONDS Subject: WARNING virus info MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7BIT Yo, just recieved this and passing it on to my entire email list.
