While on this thread (completely unrelated to our PIClist...) I have the Panasonic MiniDV camcorder, but the local Panasonic people are as thick as two planks... has anyone seen a way to pull video (data) or stills from the multi-pin connectors.. ? The manual makes an obscure reference to grabbing hi-res stills for later use on my PC, but it stops there. (The camera does do non-interlaced recordings of 'still frames' with effecively double the vertical resolution - but there is ??no way?? to get the data out apart >from normal 'composite' video.
