You're looking for procmail. I'm using it to separate the list from my
inbox. Too many mail messages was interrupting my work. So now procmail
takes everything from this list and files it into a separate mailbox. I
read it when I get good and ready.

Do a web search for a procmail tutorial. It's not too hard to setup and
it'll save you a lot a grief.
