Ok, an actuall question then.

I have just been looking into PIC16C84's, mainly because of the DIY
aspect of programming them, etc...

I am new to PIC controllers, but not microcontrollers in general.

The main question I would like answered is this:

I shouldn't have any real trouble accessing external memory with the
PIC, should I?
