Howdy, Has anyone used Don Lancaster's magic sinewaves with a PIC? These binary strings are supposed to generate sinewaves with very little harmonics. How does this technique compare to using an eight bit port and a resistor ladder arrangement? (Obvious advantage of the magic sinewave is that it only requires one or two output pins.) ( Link to magic sinewave is http://www.tinaja.com/ ) Another question : How do I evaluate the harmonic content of a particular scheme? I have the student edition of MATLAB and MATHCAD. (These are not the current versions, as my student days was a while ago). Does anyone have a sample file on how to get MATLAB to calculate this? Thanks. ------ Steve
